The 2024 award is presented to Mikayla Soli, Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University, and Rhonda Nelson, Department of Occupational and Recreational Therapies at the University of Utah, for their manuscript “Evaluation of a high intensity interval training (HIIT) program for military personnel receiving inpatient treatment for a substance use disorder” that appeared in the Therapeutic Recreation Journal, 58(2), 2024, pp. 125–142. A monetary award accompanies this honor.
