Future Scholars
Award
The NART Future Scholars program invests in emerging master's student or masters-level graduate scholars pursuing careers in research and higher education. Recipients gain access to mentorship, professional networks, and opportunities that help shape the future of the field.
The Marcia Carter Scholarly Manuscript Award recognizes an outstanding manuscript published in the Therapeutic Recreation Journal – Annual in Therapeutic Recreation that demonstrates exceptional scholarly rigor and advances the evidence base of the profession. The selected work advances the evidence base of therapeutic recreation, aligns with the APIE-D process, and offers clear implications for practice, research, and/or education that benefit diverse populations and interprofessional collaboration.
